Twisted Time
Chapter 1- The Beginning of the New Chaos
Long ago humans were the most advanced species. They made cities in the skies and seas. They made flying machines which could travel around the world in minutes. Technology was at its peak, but then it all changed when humans made weapons to powerful to contain. The world ended that treacherous day, the day the humans created the gods and goddesses. The gods could not live knowing there were creatures with powers greater than their own. So the gods killed off most of the humans and robbed them of all of their technology. Whole cities were lost in the battles which followed, and in the end, very few humans survived the assaults. Seven hundred years after that day of chaos, in a small human mining Town, large drills were digging into the severed ground searching for rare metals to sell for titanium in far off lands. Faster and faster the drills spun deeper into the ground. Then suddenly the drills stopped; they had reached a large cavern in the ground. The drills were far too large to fit in to the cavern below so a crew of three miners scrambled into the cave. The cavern was scorching with heat. The miners were ready to turn back, but in shock they noticed a large ruby the color of fire on a far off wall. The miners ran over to collect their prize thinking of all the money they could make. When suddenly out of the ruby, a figure arose. It was a god. He had on a large red robe with a ruby necklace shaped like a twisted flame. His face looked weary, yet young. He looked around the age of twenty. He had blood red hair combed neatly to the side with streaks of orange here and there, with an orange goatee to match. The most unusual feature was his eyes, bright as fire, with power hidden with in them. “I am Blaze, the god of fire”, said his firm, but calm voice. “You have awakened me from my slumber mortals! For that you shall perish in the endless fires of hell!” With a swift movement of his hand the miners slowly sunk into the rocky earth where their screams could not be heard. Blaze drew out his bow and instantly an arrow appeared where it should. Blaze shot it upwards into the rock, which crumbled down to the cavern, bringing the village with it. “Let this be a lesson to you mortals!” Blaze shouted. “Always beware of the gods!”
With that he jumped into the air and flew high above the clouds, and disappeared in the distance towards the land of forests, and the sanctuary of the gods. Deep in the forest Blaze landed on an old stump and walked towards the tall castle stretching to the sky, made entirely of crystals with water pouring out of the turrets. At the door he heard the happy screams of Toggle, the mushroom spirit saying “Lord Blaze, Lord Blaze at last your back. Did you find out the plans of the humans.”
“Yes,” said Blaze in a cheery voice. “and what I have found out shall amuse Kailon very much.” “Good.” said the small spirit, opening the large crystal gate. Once inside the castle Blaze headed up a spiral staircase made of light, until he reached the top floor. On that floor there was a door studded with gold and jewels with a sign of amber saying: In this room you will find the god and ruler of light, Lord Kailon. Blaze pushed opened the door and stared at the large glass throne which Kailon was upon, where he could see all the forest. Kailon had a face of a young man with sky blue eyes and white hair which sagged to his shoulders. He wore a robe like Blaze’s, only white, and in his hand he held a glass staff with a white light floating upon its top. “Greetings Blaze, tell me did you find out anything interesting on your long voyage?” Kailon asked in his proud voice. “I bring you news from tree spirits that the humans are preparing an army to destroy us, and claim the world once again to themselves.” Blaze responded. “They shall attack in one day.” “You do realize this means.” Kailon said with a hint of fear. “They shall gather an army so large that it could destroy this great forest in nothing more than a week or two. So if we wipe out this army we probably wipe out the humans only defense leaving the rest of the mortals helpless.”
“Does this mean we fight?” Blaze asked curiously. “We fight, we win, than we finally wipe out the last of the mortals that we missed several hundred years ago.” Kailon said. “Then I shall call forth all the gods who still worship the light. There should be enough left to make an army big enough to finish this war once and for all. I shall start with our sister Kceal.” Blaze said thinking of the gods that would help. Blaze hurried down the stairs, and flew off to the north, to find as many gods as he could. “Do you think there are enough on our side left?” asked Toggle. “I can only hope. Hope that they haven’t reverted to the ancient ways of darkness.” Kailon said worried that this possibility might be true.
Chapter 2 – The Battle to End All Battles
It was dark by the time Blaze returned. With him was Kceal the goddess of nature, wearing the same robe as the other gods but in green, with dark brown hair stretching down covering her young face, and touching the ground. Also accompanying them was Aquarius the god of water, wearing the robe of the gods, but in blue with odd webbed hands and feet. The last god was Apocalypse the god of death, who used to be a former god of darkness. Nobody knew why he joined light, or anything else about him. All that could be seen was his gray robe which covered his face, and the rest of his body. TEXT More coming soon hope u like it!!!
